The External Data extension allows MediaWiki pages to retrieve, filter, and format data from one or more sources. In addition to external URLs, data can also come from a regular wiki page, SOAP service, an uploaded file, an LDAP directory, a database (relational or NoSQL) or server-side program call.
This documentation page applies to all SMW versions from 1.4.1 to the most current version.
