Wikibase, the software that powers Wikidata, has been around for 8 years now. But Wikibase is not just for Wikidata - it is now also used to run many other interesting projects and is the fundamental building block of the Wikibase Ecosystem. Over the past 2 years, Wikimedia Deutschland and others have been working on more opening up more data and connecting it with the help of Wikibase. In this talk we'd like to give you an introduction to the vision behind the Wikibase Ecosystem, its current state and what's coming up next.
