The Vienna History Wiki ("Wien Geschichte Wiki") is a government platform on Vienna's city history launched in 2014.
It is a georeferenced historical knowledge platform and tries to bring together city council's and experts' historical knowledge about Vienna. The wiki is open for participation, all new added content is checked by historian experts.
Based on a large encyclopedia, the wiki started with over 27,000 articles and was implemented by KDZ – Centre for Public Administration Research (who was hosting SMWCon Fall 2014, by the way).
