New extensions and releases, deployment procedures, events and field reports, professional service providers: The MediaWiki community has to gather all this information with difficulty. The information is spread over the websites of the different stakeholders in the community.
In order to join forces, a concrete project for a joint, collaborative news channel is presented here. A central question is the continuous editorial support of the channel. In the workshop it will be clarified, how this can be brought organizationally and financially on the way.
The channel would be to be thought as project of the MWStakehoders and thus open for all developers and service providers. The Hallo Welt! would take over the technical supply for the MWStakeholders.
The result of the workshop could be that the most important key points have been clarified and the first contributions have been made.
