Denny (actually Zdenko) Vrandečić studied computer science and philosophy in Stuttgart, Germany, and has dalmatian ancestry. Today he is at the AIFB, Universität Karlsruhe (TH), working on the semantic web and ontologies. He is one of the developers of the Semantic MediaWiki.
