This talk presents experiences and insights from the recent re-design and implementation of the web portal of the International Center for Computational Logic. In essence, this is an organisational home page in the research and education sector. It is therefore not a typical wiki, in several aspects:
- it is not supposed to look like Wikipedia
- the users are not typical wiki editors
- there is a large amount of structured and semi-structured content
In addition, the site is bi-lingual.
This presentation gives an overview of the smaller and bigger innovations that went into the site's development. The main focus will be on mobile-friendly skinning and usable workflows.
