Version 2.5.6 of Semantic MediaWiki is the sixth release after the major Semantic MediaWiki 2.5.0 release. It provides bugfixes as well as compatibility with MediaWiki 1.30.x. Please refer to the help page on installing Semantic MediaWiki to get detailed instructions on how to install or upgrade.

Please remember to run MediaWiki's "update.php" maintenance script after the upgrade if you are upgrading from Semantic MediaWiki 2.4.x or earlier before continuing to work with Semantic MediaWiki.
