Our research focuses on studying semantic wiki communities to understand how contributors add semantic content to wikis. We have developed ProvenanceBee, a system that presents summaries of detailed semantic activity in Semantic MediaWiki installations. ProvenanceBee builds on WikiApiary, which already offers a centralized repository of summary information for MediaWiki (and therefore Semantic MediaWiki) installations.
ProvenanceBee accesses active installations of Semantic MediaWiki and gathers information about 1) all the concepts, properties, and assertions created in the wiki, 2) the provenance of all the semantic content in the wiki in terms of what users contributed which content, 3) the growth of the semantic content over time.
