displaying a web site screenshot thumbnail

From semantic-mediawiki.org

Dear Yuri, As we discussed during the SMWCOn Fall 2012, I achieved to display a web site screenshot thumbnail on my wiki.

I did it with the help of the extension HTML_Tags and a website screenshot provider.

You can see an exemple here

Hi Nicolas! Very cool! What library have you used to get screenshots? Do you plan to release it? I found these:

There is also some amount of web services like http://grabz.it

Heiya,

displaying thumbshots on a page is a wish on my list too. I once posted about this on the Widgets extension's talk page since I thought that this extension would be a born host for such functionality. The HTML Tags extension seems to offer a workaround for this though it appears a bit inflexible at the moment. Probably a template would do good here.

Cheers
