Translating template content, properties and category articles

Heiya,

many questions and actually quite some work to make it happen. In order to get the Spanish translations in the file documentation needs to be translated. I have now added the respective file to the translation system. Moreover I adapted the code to automatically fetch the correct description as soon as it was translated for the file.

Via the translation system you will now also find the categories to be translated. e.g. "manual user/es" so please do not create them manually.

You can translate properties like "Has Population" within the docu as long as it displays example syntax. As soon as it is a live example the original names have to be retained.

Cheers

Hola

Thanks a lot. I am on it. You are a crack, and you know it ;-).

Thanks.

More questions. I hope it is not a lot of more work for you. When I find an article with the old language template sistem, should I keep it, put the {{interlanguage}} template only in the spanish translation (would that even work?) or change the template in all the article translations?

I saw the spanish home page is back. Should anything be done to keep it updated to the english mainpage?

And that's all, I hope.

Best Regards

Heiya,

I'd say that you should keep the old language template system. I will change over to the new template as you go on translating. Changing over requires moving pages and some other stuff.

Do not worry about the Main Page. We will change to a new version soon and I will add it to the translation system. Thus you will be able to translate and adapt to changes as I publish them.

Cheers
