Hi there
I have been working on properties and types and I am wondering why the language pages are so diferent?
There are as many versions as languages. I kept the English as my source, but I wonder any way. (I cannot read russian nor chinese)
thanks
Hi Amglez, the wiki is actually more or less undergoing reconstruction. The translations in the other languages are pretty old and display a former state of editing. If you stick to English you will not be wrong. Thanks for your work! Cheers
good
I was thinking if it would not be tidier to put translations as subpages, as in the mediawiki project.
Another question, how do I fill the docinfo template? author and master rev are my primary concerns. As I am not on the master page, I cannot use {{REVISIONID}}, can I?
Best Regards
You could very well use translations as subpages, e.g. Propiedades y tipos since this would help if we were to use the Translate extension on that page. Like this it is fine too.
About the docinfo template. On the translated page you are basically the one for support while Markus is still the original author. For master revision you add the revision number of the latest revision of the page you translated, like in this example.
