Organizations operating in industries with strict compliance requirements, such as logistics, face the challenge of efficiently managing complex processes while adhering to multiple standards like ISO, IFS Logistics, GDP, GMP or numerous DGUV requirements. In this presentation, we will showcase how a Semantic MediaWiki (SMW)-based integrated management system can offer a robust solution to these challenges by delivering a flexible, centralized platform for process management, data synchronization, and compliance tracking.

Our system leverages the full capabilities of SMW to provide ready-to-use forms and templates, enabling seamless management of business elements such as processes, projects, services, people, and assets. By embedding a BPMN diagram editor into the platform, we enable real-time synchronization between BPMN diagrams and the system's semantic data, ensuring that any changes in roles, processes, or structures are instantly reflected across both visual and data-driven views. This feature is particularly valuable in industries like logistics, where compliance with multiple regulations requires frequent updates and clear process visibility.

We will also highlight how physical assets, such as inspection-required equipment, can be easily managed through QR codes that link directly to the system. For example, scanning a QR code on a piece of equipment will instantly access its inspection history or enable logging of new inspections, thus bridging the gap between the digital system and real-world operations.

To further enhance usability, we have integrated a local language model (LLM) with a Vector Store for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), allowing users to query the management system without exposing sensitive data to external AI providers. This ensures data confidentiality while offering a powerful tool for navigating the complexities of compliance and process management.

Join us to discover how this SMW-based solution can streamline operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and offer a flexible, scalable platform tailored to the needs of organizations operating in regulated industries.
