I'm head of a research department which uses Semantic MediaWiki to store and coordinate relevant research material and literature. SMW is of great help (Apr 2012 our database contains now over 1M property values) and the community did an amazing job to keep this project alive and to show our appreciation I decided to help out by doing some enhancements myself (just took an ordinary text editor and started to make small contributions on my own).
- Fixed Semantic Incoming Properties (SIP) to work with SMW 1.7
- Semantic Tagbox (STB) display a tag box similar to that of the category box for one global specified property at the bottom of each page
- Semantic Tag Automation (SETA) uses word frequency in an article to identify the most frequent words and convert them into semantic tags without any user interaction.
- Semantic Citation (SCITE) used internally as replacement for Cite/Cite.php
- Added new SF queryformlink parser function
- Enhancement to SRF Gallery fromat to be used with the jQuery jcarousel plug-in
- Added a new SRF datatables module allowing to display tables with the jQuery DataTables plug-in.
- Complete re-factoring of the SRF jqPlot in order to work with SRF 1.18 (jqplotpie and jqplotbar)
- Complete re-factoring of the SRF D3 format
- Complete re-factoring of the SRF JitGraph format to be inline with SRF D3 and SRF jqPlot
- On-hold is a test with SRF Spark
- SWF Document Viewer extension that allows to convert pdf's into swf format with an on-the-fly or job-rendering process, ability to display the rendered document with a flash document viewer (flexpaper).
- SWF Media player extension enable an inline media player (JW Player) for selected media types within MW's file repository
- Sphinx PDF Indexer out-of-the-box functionality to index pdf or djvu files in connection with Sphinx xmlpipe2 data source model
